E-Lorraine (she/her) has called Brooklyn her home for 4 years, and loves to use the Brooklyn scene as inspiration for her work. E-Lorraine offers her creative and innovative view to push the Fashion, Home, and Paper Product Markets. With her knowledge of designing for a variety of products, she uses her unique perspective for everything from fashion prints to home product development.
E-Lorraine is the founder and producer of Trans Art Bazaar, an artisan and makers market located in Bushwick. E-Lorraine created this market to build opportunities the trans and non-binary small business owners. The most recent market hosted over 80 vendors and had close to 2,000 people attend. Learn more about the market at Transartbazaar.com. Trans Art Bazaar helped E-Lorraine find as a small business owner, now selling silk scarves, T-shirts and dresses all with her unique designs. The planning of this market has always happened while E-Lorraine continued her education, getting a Bachelors degree in Textile/Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology State University of New York. She’s been able to expand her design education beyond the walls of FIT. One of these opportunities was interning at well-regarded Earthbound LLC, working with multiple teams within the company. She was also invited to be Guest Designer for West Point Home on their diversity Campaign. E-Lorraine was also Featured in an episode of Off Field Fashion on the Yankees Network where she created Designer Denim for Gedion Zelalem, midfielder for the New York City Football Club, and MLS Cup champion.
When E-Lorraine is not creating, you can find her enjoying Netflix with her cats Sketch and Doodle, doing activist work for the Transgender community, visiting her family in New Hampshire, or trying new boba tea shops regularly.
